We actively promote the success of our campaigns which have helped to reduce crime in our city. This has contributed to reducing the fear of crime, drugs and anti-social behaviour in Leicester.
As a result there has been a significant improved on how the people of the Leicester feel about the city:
During 2004 and 2008 we ask people how they felt about crime in the city, the response were as follows;

In 2004 46% of you said they were very worried about having their home broken into, in 2008 this reduced to 25%

In 2004 34% of you said they were very worried about deliberate damage to their property, in 2008 this was recorded at 19%

In 2004 35 % of you were very worried about being mugged or robbed in comparison 19% of people felt this way in 2008

In 2004 17% of you feared being subject to physical attack due to skin colour, ethnic origin or religion, this figure fell to10% in 2008

In 2004 44% of you said that you feared people using or dealing drugs in your area, this dropped to 21% in 2008
