Audit
All CDRPs are required to undertake an audit of crime and disorder in their area every three years. The 2004 Crime, Disorder and Drugs Audit carried about the Safer Leicester Partnership represented their third audit.
The purpose of the audit is to establish the nature of offending in the city. The audit was completed in November 2004. The process involved collecting information from as many partners as possible and carrying out community consultation exercises with a broad representation of Leicester's residents to help measure the perceptions or level of fear of crime, disorder and drugs. The complete document is attached below.
Strategy
This strategy (the partnership's third) has been compiled following the most comprehensive audit of the extent, nature, and perceptions of crime, disorder and drugs within Leicester.
This strategy aims to ensure that the Home Office Public Service Agreement (PSA) targets on crime and disorder are addressed whilst building upon the Partnership's achievements over the last six years, as well as addressing some emerging priorities that will be new to Parternship's work.
