TIMES THAT BURGLARY MAY OCCUR:
 
  • 29% of burglaries occurred at the weekend, suggesting that risks of burglary are no higher at the weekend than during the week.
 
 
 
  • Just over half of burglaries took place during the evening or night.  Daytime incidents were more likely to occur in the afternoon than the morning.
