The Safer Leicester Partnership (SLP) is made up of a number of different agencies, such as Leicester City Council, Leicestershire Constabulary, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service, Leicestershire & Rutland Probation Boardand Leicester City NHSand also includes partners from the private and the voluntary sector, such as the local Chamber of Commerce sector and victim and witness support services.
Our Key Priorities
1. Tackling Violent Crime - reducing domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, racial and homophobic violence and the harm it causes.
2. Delivering Stronger Neighbourhoods– tackling anti-social behaviour in communities.
3. Reducing the effects of Drugs and Alcohol - reducing the harm caused by drugs and alcohol both to individuals and communities.
4. Reducing burglary and vehicle crime (Acquisitive Crime) – reducing drug related acquisitive crime, (burglary, vehicle crime), the number of young people committing offences and harm caused by substance misuse among young people.
5. Reducing Re-offending - reducing levels of adult re-offending Prolific and other Priority Offenders and violent offenders.
